Maryam claimed that because of the past administration’s poor policies, the new administration had to make difficult choices. She alludes to Imran Khan’s comments as premier that he did not take office to control vegetable prices when she added, “I will talk about tomato and potato prices and will stand with the people in this terrible position.”
This was stated by Nawaz Sharif’s daughter during a rally on Saturday in Green Town, Pakistan, to officially kick off Nazir Chauhan’s campaign for the PP-167 by-election.

She stated that the IMF was dealing with Pakistan strictly as a result of the actions of the previous government led by Imran Khan, quoting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.”Due to violations [of the agreement] committed by Khan’s government, the IMF doesn’t trust Pakistan.”Maryam claimed that because of the past administration’s poor policies, the new administration had to make difficult choices.
